Art's Supplies first opened its doors on May 1, 1958 at 44 Brattle St. in Cambridge, Mass. At that time there were few outlets in the area for fine art supplies beyond Boston, and none in Harvard Square. Over the years, Art's has expanded from its core business of painting and drawing supplies to become a full–service store, frame shop and gallery—all under one roof, conveniently located near subway and buses.
